London Fashion Week: Topshop & Burberry

After a busy weekend of homework and studying, I am finally back into my daily routine of sitting at Starbucks and blogging in between classes. Honestly, I think I really use this time to regain my sanity each day. With a busy week ahead of me with tests and papers, it hasn't stopped me from stalking all forms of social media during this week's shows. With a few standout favorites from the first 4 days of LFW, I knew I needed to share. Of course, Topshop Unique's show was a favorite for me. With the designs being inspired by vacationing in Ibiza, there were short shorts, billowy dresses, and bags in shades of green, yellow and blue, as well as earthy patterns. Leading the finale was Queen of the runway Cara Delevingne, ending the show in all white with splashes of colored embellishments. With Unique being a top talk of fashion week, Topshop once again proved why they are a staple brand.

One of the most iconic British fashion brands to ever grace LFW is hands down Burberry. Known as the definition of British fashion, Burberry is one of the most successful world-wide labels. The show today featured sophisticated, structured clothing highlighted by pretty, pastel prints. Instead of screaming "girly" because of the pastel colors, the coats, pencil skirts, and fitted tops kept their high fashion feel. Also highlighted at this show, was the designer's love for floral inspired embellishments which have been seen all over the runway in London this week. Need another another reason to know why Burberry is so special? The brand is exclusively letting you purchase the designs straight from the Runway until September 30th. Fab.

Is it obvious that Cara is one of my favorite models yet...? Oops. While browsing through pictures of the runway shows, it's also become clear to me that the Street Style from London is proving to be just as good as it was during NYFW. Stay tuned for more posts about the designs and street style from LFW.
